You are what YOU eat!
Luke 6:40 “…But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.”
You may not know this about yourself, but you are extremely impressionable. Your mind, body, and spirit are a work in progress. You are different now than you were 3 years ago. You will be different again in 3 more years. You will never stop changing!
You are what you eat. Your physical body will respond to what you feed it. If you eat breakfast everyday at Krispy Kreme, then you will start to look like the other people who eat breakfast at Krispy Kreme!
In the same way,
You will become who you pursue. You will become like the people who you allow to have influence over you. Your decisions, thoughts, and world view will change to become like the people you are listening to, watching, and reading.
Who is your teacher? Who is feeding you? Who are you becoming?
My suggestion:
Find someone who you would like to “become,” and pursue them. Imitate them. Study them. Learn them. Have coffee with them. Ask them questions. Trust them with details of your life. Honor them.
If you don’t, who knows what you’ll become!
